OLD CNC LATHE RETROFIT
Hello. I'm trying to retrofit an old FANUC 0T CNC lathe. Is it possible to implement legacy lathe programs like G96 or G76 using csmio/ip-a and csmio-enc mach4? I saw a recent post that said it still doesn't work, so I was wondering if there was an update.
At this time, there is no change regarding support for these legacy lathe functions. An update to the Mach4 plugin is planned, but we cannot provide a timeframe. The final scope of new features will depend on the availability and stability of the Mach4 SDK documentation, as some required functions remain insufficiently documented.
We will provide further updates once the implementation path is clearly defined.
