post processor

Hi,

I'm in the process of converting a chinese 3000x2000 stepper drive router with an 11kw spindle driver. I have a csmio/p-s controller with simcnc which I am in the process of configuring.

I am wavering between fusion 360 (because I have it) and V carve. What can I use as a post processor for my system? I've seen that you have a laser pp for vectric ( I am going to install a laser shortly so that is interesting for me)

Hi,

>>> I am wavering between fusion 360 (because I have it) and V carve.

These are two different CAM software.

F360 is technical software, and V carve is art software.

For F360 and V carve, we have postprocessors on our website.

Currently, for V carve, we have a postprocessor for a laser.

In the future, we will adapt it to a milling machine.

Thanks for your reply,

I am using both softwares and I agree with your description. Are you any closer th releasing a PP for vcarve? I used their g-code mm one for the trial files and that seemed to work OK.

I don't have much time right now.
It may be enough to use an existing postprocessor for Mach3 or Fanuc.
Most postprocessors fit simCNC.
My intervention is unnecessary if you already have one that meets your expectations.
