Warning: Save power mode is enable for ethernet adapter.
Quote from jose-gzm on 26 April 2025, 18:59I have a warning message that appears every time I open the program:
Warning: Save power mode is enabled for ethernet adapter.
I have already disabled that mode in the advanced settings of the network card, but the message keeps appearing, and occasionally I experience disconnection from the Motion Controller. When that happens, I close the program, reopen it, and it works again, but the warning message still shows up. I'm using a shielded network cable and 4-axis Motion Controller CSMIO IP-M.
Any suggestions?

Thanks for the recommendation. I went into the BIOS and reviewed each and every available function, but at least on my computer, there is none that refers to a power-saving mode for the network card. The message still keeps appearing, and I’m still experiencing random disconnection issues.

Are you using a PC or a Notebook? Do you already have the right cable? The connection only works with a crossover cable, a regular network cable won't work.

Thanks for the recommendations. I use a computer known as a "Barebone PC." Even though Windows 11 said all my drivers were up to date, after trying different things, I managed to solve the problem as follows:
I downloaded the network card driver from the manufacturer’s website.
I replaced the default Windows 11 driver with the one I downloaded.
In Windows Device Manager, under the advanced settings for the network card, I disabled all power-saving features (again).
I restarted the computer, and now the error message is gone. So far, I haven't experienced any more random disconnection issues.
Thank you.
