Firmware

Good day,
I am using a CSMIO/IP-S with Mach3. To test the SIMCNC software, I installed it on another laptop. SIMCNC needs the latest firmware 3.... Everything worked without any problems. Now I wanted to use the "old" Mach3 system, but it does not connect anymore. Mach3 Plugin 2.9. downgrade of firmware possible? Mach3 Plugin on firmware 3..... ?

When installing the plugin for Mach3, the uploder and firmware 2.910 are also installed in case the situation you are currently in occurs.

Go to "C:\Program Files (x86)\CSMIO-IP-S Controller Firmware" and run "CSMIOF4Uploader.exe".

Then press "Start" go to " C:\Program Files (x86)\CSMIO-IP-S Controller Firmware" and select "CSMIO_IP_S-V2_910.csapp" or "CSMIO_IP_S-V2_910.csfmw" (the file extension does not matter). Then press "Open", when your controller is found, check the checkbox next to it and press "OK"

You must repeat this operation every time you return to Mach3.

Please use the CSUploader app that’s installed with simCNC.

The older uploader included with the Mach3 plugin does not support the newer communication protocols.

I’ve attached the legacy firmware files for the CSMIO/IP controllers.

Use these to downgrade controller back to 2.910 firmware (the last compatible with Mach3).
