Override limits

Hi again, everybody,

Is there a button to override the limits like in Mach3?

Thanks in advance.

Hi,

I think you mean disabling soft limits. If so, it is on the main page.

Hello, it doesn't work as you say.

I mean, sometimes I accidentally cross the limits of some axis (they are all in input #1), and in order to get out I have to go to settings and disable them one by one.

In Mach3 there is a button for this, here maybe a macro ?

Thank you

Sorry, but the first time I didn't realize that you were asking about the "OverRide Limits" function known from Mach3.
In the case of simCNC, this function is permanently enabled, meaning you can always leave the limit switch with one exception.

The exception is connecting all limit switches to one digital input and enabling the "SmartLimits" function.
After reaching the limit switch, the "Smart Limits" function blocks further movement of an axis beyond the limit switch.
If all limit switches are connected to one digital input, simCNC will block the movement of all axes in both directions after touching any limit switch.
This is an inconvenient solution, and if all limit switches are connected to one digital input, the "Smart Limits" function should not be used.
