simCNC Simulator configuration
Hello, what do I have to set in order to be able to simulate the machine on a PC without a machine?
I ticked Simulator under Settings and selected my machine's profile. If I now press the "connect" button and want to go to the reference, it breaks off with the error hw limit.
Or does the profile not matter and I only have to enter something under Settings->Simulator->Modules?
To simulate the machine, all you have to do is turn on the simulation options and select the type of simulated controller (simCNC restart is required).
If you want to simulate limit switches, you must configure them in the MotionKit settings and set their position in the "Simulator/Modules" tab
The error you get is the simulation of hitting a limit switch.
You need to know that the simulator does not have full functionality like the controller, and some features may not be available.
