crash
Quote from Chris Mannion on 24 August 2023, 14:50Thanks I've installed beata 2 and after installing a crossover cable I've set the machine running again.
It crashed within 1 minute this time, I can confirm that the config has not been lost this time the controller after the restart has stat0 flashing and stat1 permanently lit.
It took a very long time for the firmware to upgrade following the update to beta2.
I've just ried another run and watched the timeout errors rack up to 400 whilst moving to xy home from ref all position before pressing pause I then got the connection lost error and the machine was stopped. There is now just stat0 flashing.

That's what I thought! I've tried different computers including a desktop, different router, different cables, direct connection, new power supplies. Even when the network card sleep setting is off the nag screen still shows on loading. Do you have any other ideas?Chris

I'm afraid you haven't turned off the network card's saving mode.
If you did, the message asking you to disable the power-saving mode of the network card would disappear.

Quote from Chris Mannion on 30 August 2023, 14:42To enable the ability to access the power mangement tab in device manager :
Open regedit
Navigate to Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Power
if CsEnabled doesnt exist then create it as a dWord the value should be (0)
Reboot
Open device manager
Right click properties
open power management tab
Untick allow this computer to wake
Then untick allow computer to turn off
This has enabled me to turn off the power saving on the (new docking station) and we will see if this cures my issue.
how does it detect that the power saving is turned on?
