End -race switch.
Quote from Thony on 8 January 2024, 11:27Hello and thank you to this site to exist,
I am looking for all information allowing me to progress in the choice of my future CNC control system.
By consulting the page here: https://en.cs-lab.eu/csmio-ip-m-to-simdrive-servo-400w-750w-mach3-mach4-simcnc-connection-and-settings/
I see that there is only one end -of -race interruption for each axis. Is it possible to add a second interruption, or is it not necessary? Thanks for your help. Excuse my English, which is translated.

I don't understand what you mean here.

Merci

The Index signal is compared with the Home signal when homing the axis.
That is why the Home limit switch is included in the diagram.
Nothing is stopping you from adding two limit switches, Limit++ and Limit-- (the vapor system has 3 limit switches).
You can also configure the current Home switch as Limit-- and add another one as limit++ (the system operates on 2 switches). In the picture - diagram of homing using the index signal.

Of course.
